Overview
Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1139, by Andrew. The establishment of Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji's construction back out of the project. Andrew pushed on reguardles, and Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji is buildings are located arround a single crampt canals mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji's millitarily questionable fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the city like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This city is as a necropolice.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Wu-tǟ Prairie was struck by a drought when Lake Dana grew too small to continue feeding Waterway Summerliers, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Slæ̈rn Islunk-oji lost 207 people, and 296 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 6 weeks, which are remembered as the Hate Thirst.
